So I finally got around to watching the Fifty Shades movies a few weeks ago.  I have not read the books and do not plan to, but I figured that the movies themselves would give me enough knowledge to actually have an opinion when people converse (mostly rant/rail against) this work as a whole.  For ease, I shall refer to the work in general as FSoG.

This was actually my second attempt at watching FSoG.  I originally attempted to watch the first movie shortly after it left theaters and could not get past the first seven minutes.  This time around I invested a whole $6 in the set, which gave me a vested interest to actually finish it.  I have read and/or seen FSoG discussed ad nauseam and it is generally panned for portraying terrible and inaccurate things, although there are some minor contingencies that continue to use the work…
