Some guys have told me that they have been turned away by dominatrixes because they didn’t have enough experience. Here are some reasons:
- he may not know what he wants from a domme
- he may only prefer the #bdsm fantasy but shy away from the real thing
- he has no idea(s) about his hard or soft limits
- he probably has little tolerance for bondage or pain
- he won’t observe the protocols that most domme’s expect
- he’s usually not dressed appropriately
- he might bounce from one domme to another without developing any connection to any of them
- he will resist going to the next level; he may freak out and not return
- since no one in the scene knows him, nobody trusts him
But how can a guy get a start in #bdsm? If he goes to clubs, he’ll usually be ignored. If he attends munches, he’ll be told to attend various instructional events and after a few of these, he’s still alone.
